The Chai Latte recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of filtered water
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon (or 3 bags) of traditional black tea
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 5 carnations
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 seeds (or half a teaspoon) of turmeric
- 8 grains of black pepper
- A pinch of ground ginger
Method of preparation:
- Boil the water.
- In the meantime, grind the spices that are in grains in a mortar.
- Add all the spices to the water and simmer for at least 8 minutes.
- Then put the sugar and tea into the mixture and simmer over low heat for another five minutes.
- Turn off the heat, wait for it to cool down a bit and drain it well.
- Boil the milk separately and then froth it with a mixer.
- In a tall glass, serve the tea and then the milk with a pinch of cinnamon to decorate.
