A combination of nature at its best and classified historical heritage make Paraty a jolly destination for any time of year, with waterfall baths, historic farms, cachaçaries, cobbled streets and good restaurants. This is because its location, isolated in the Araujo Island, just a few minutes away by boat, it offers a perfect combination of forest, sea and comfort. Tropical flora surrounds the accommodation, which has its own private beach. The land also has two other houses, set far apart from each other – it is possible to rent all the accommodation if you wish to have the property for yourself and your group only.
Four suites accommodate ten guests nicely, and your stay includes breakfast and daily maid service. The brand new colonial look comes to life with colorful walls and beach and Atlantic forest accents. The sound of the waves, the crystal clear water, nature at your fingertips. Honeymooners or couples looking for a getaway will find everything they need. In the piece known as corumbe, north of Paraty, the bungalow is hidden in the trees and allows close contact with the fauna and flora of the Atlantic Forest. Expect visits from birds and monkeys. The beach, quiet and almost transparent green, is just a few steps away, which can be accessed by a footpath.

Casa Porta del Mar
North of Paraty, the house is on Great beach, which concentrates small towns and a fishing village — expect tranquility and a more grounded beach vibe. With two suites, both with air conditioning, it accommodates four people well. The calm sea surrounded by soft sand and the Atlantic Forest is a five minute walk away. Nearby there is also a grocery store, a bakery, restaurants with fresh fish and, if you want to check out the kitchen, there is also a fishmonger.
But the highlight of this home is its deck with an infinity pool that overlooks the bay. To get there, the steep slope requires skills and up-to-date tires. If you don’t go by car, taxis serve the area well. book here

Casarao Corumbe
Surrounded by nature and peace, this property for ten people in the region of Corumbe it is just in front of the sea. Although the beach is not Brastemp in terms of transparency (it is in a mangrove region), there is a large swimming pool and also kayaks to explore the surroundings. It is also possible to access other beaches more suitable for bathing not far from there, such as rose. Among the comforts of the stay, cleaning services, breakfast, cots, pool towels and beach items such as umbrellas and diving equipment. Design house in the forest
20 minutes from the historic center on the Paraty-Cunha road, this Airbnb is nestled in the Atlantic Forest right on the border with Serra de Bocaina National Park. Ideal for up to five guests (pets are also welcome for a fee), the place is named Casa Asha in honor of the indigenous Ashaninka tribe, who inspired its hut-like architecture. The design, in fact, is captivating and seems to have come out of a magazine cover: its pyramidal shape, all in wood and with a glass front, stands out in the middle of the forest. Another strong point is the private waterfall, with calm waters, 10 minutes walk. Besides it, there are four other waterfalls in the area.
The water that feeds the property comes from a natural source and the shower is heated by solar panels. But however isolated and integrated into nature the accommodation may be, it is not lacking in comfort: you have a fireplace, king and queen beds, office, terrace with hammock (perfect for breakfast or a drink at the end of the day), stove, cookware, coffee grinders and even gym equipment. Caveats: Mobile signal is unstable and low cars may skid on access to house, but host will be there to assist. There is a bus stop in front of the property. book here

Large house near the historic center
For those who prefer to stay closer to the historic center of Paraty, this Airbnb is the right choice. in the neighborhood of cabore, the house is 200 meters from bakeries and markets and about a kilometer from the historic center. Other beaches in the region, such as jabaquara, are also easily accessible by car from the house. Inside, the three-bedroom property for up to seven people has a clean décor with a predominance of white and touches of green on the doors and windows, creating a pleasant tropical atmosphere.
