  1. Place 1/2 cup of cold water in each nonmetallic bowl or cup.

  3. Poke a hole in the yolk with a toothpick to prevent the egg from exploding in the microwave. Attack well.
  4. Cover the bowls or cups with a saucer.
  5. Take it to the microwave.
