Poached (Poached) Eggs:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of water (tea)
- salt and pepper
PRE-PREPARATION:
- Separate recipe ingredients and utensils.

Poached Eggs (A Few) in the Microwave:
- Place 1/2 cup of cold water in each nonmetallic bowl or cup.
- Carefully open the eggs and place one in each – so that they are submerged – add a little more water if necessary.
- Poke a hole in the yolk with a toothpick to prevent the egg from exploding in the microwave. Attack well.
- Cover the bowls or cups with a saucer.
- Take it to the microwave.
- Cook, 50 seconds, on high power — the white should be cooked through and the yolk soft.
- If the egg white is still raw when you check the egg, cook for another 10-15 seconds (cooking time depends on the power of your microwave).
- Remove the egg with a slotted spoon and drain the water well.
- Season the eggs with salt and pepper.
