Young Fernanda Coquete was frightened after having a panoramic x-ray for the extraction of her upper wisdom teeth. Upon examination, she discovered that there was an earring in her nostril and she would have to undergo emergency surgery to remove the accessory. The explainer video went viral on social media and had more than 2 million views. (look down).
To the tick tock, she explained that the dentist questioned her when the X-ray result came out. “Then they said to me: ‘Fernanda, are you sure you took off all the earrings you were wearing? Did you take off your nose ring?’” she recalls.
Afterwards, the young woman replied that she doesn’t have a nose piercing, and she heard another question: “So what is that inside your nose?”. In the picture you can see that there is an object between the teeth and the nose.

Fernanda was taken to hospital and the otolaryngologist stated that there was a “foreign body” in her nostril. At the unit, the team also tried to remove the earring, but the young woman had to undergo emergency surgery. “I’m very calm. I’m laughing in despair because it’s so bizarre,” she said.
In a second video, after the procedure, she showed an X-ray from 2018, taken before her lower two wisdom teeth were removed. There is nothing abnormal about this.
“And now I screw up all my morals, because I can’t use the excuse that I was a kid sticking something up my nose. In other words, it was the adult Fernanda who committed this bizarre thing,” she jokes.
He claims that the only explanation he has for how the earring ended up in his nostril is that he sniffed it in his sleep. Fernanda also said that she had been looking for the accessory for over a year.
