A pizza chain in New Zealand has been making waves on the internet for the past week with a different promotion. A total of 666 customers will be able to buy a pizza from Hell Pizza and pay only after their death. The deal was described by the pizzeria as “post-mortem payment”.
“Afterlife Pay” requires a document to be signed upon pizza delivery for customers to add an amendment to their will. If they leave no money to pay off the debt, the heirs are responsible for paying the amount.
According to the chain, no interest or additional fees are charged, only the value of the pizza at the time of purchase.
In videos advertising the promotion, customers are surprised but believe it’s a good deal. The pizzeria also warns customers not to exceed their financial possibilities.
