Singer Black Gilwho is still being treated for a bowel cancermade an outburst this Sunday (18) on his social networks about his current physical condition and reflected on the benefit of returning to activities, such as work on stage again.
“When I was in intensive care, after septicemia, I thought about the opportunity that God was giving me to continue my path and to fight for my life and my happiness. Being on stage with my family, in the middle of the my cancer treatment , it’s a gift from God!!!That’s why I enjoyed every second with them, even with some limitations, because these shows were a very strong dose of healing through art, acceptance and love !” Black Gil.
And she continued, thanking her family: “I’m still processing what happened yesterday, I can’t believe what we experienced!!! It feels like a dream!!! After so much suffering, to be able to do this show in my lap to the family and to be greeted with this love by the public is SURREAL!!! I can only thank God for allowing me to have this happiness in the midst of so much adversity!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who stood up, shouted , applauded, sung!!! Thank you dad, thank you family!!”.
