CHEESE BREAD PIE

  • 200 ml of whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus a little more for greasing
  • salt to taste
  • 180 g Minas cheese, drained.
  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan, plus more to finish
  • 200 g of sweet sprinkle
  • 200 g of acidic starch
  • 4 unit egg(s).

PRE-PREPARATION:

  1. Separate recipe ingredients and utensils.
  2. Grease a 25cm springform pan with butter.
  3. Grate the Parmesan if you haven’t bought it grated.
  4. Put grated cheese on the bottom of the mold (additional amount – optional).
  5. Cut the cheese soups into smaller pieces.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

PREPARATION:

CHEESE BREAD PIE:

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk with the butter, just enough for it to melt.
  2. Add the salt.
  3. In food processor or high power blender: Add the heated milk with the melted butter and sprinkles. Beat to mix well.
  4. Then add the cheeses: soups and parmesan. Beat to combine all ingredients.
  5. Finally, add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. If it reaches the point of “catupiria”, there is no need to increase the amount of eggs. If not, gradually increase and tap after each addition to check the point.
  6. Place in a greased mold and bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C or until dry by testing with a toothpick.
  7. Remove from the oven when cooked and switch off.
  8. Carefully peel back sides to loosen well and unmold while still hot.

FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve hot or sliced.
  2. OR Cheese Bread Cake it is preferable to consume it during the day, still hot.
  3. Store covered at room temperature, reheat before consuming.
