Nega Maluca cake ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup of oil (tea)
- 1 cup hot water (tea)
- 1½ cups (tea) sugar
- 2 cups flour (sifted)
- 1 cup cocoa powder (powdered)
- salt (pinch)
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- Butter to grease the mould
Chocolate glaze ingredients:
- 60ml of milk
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- ½ cup cocoa powder (powdered)
- 1 cup (tea) of sugar
Ingredients to finish:
- chocolates (to taste)
PRE-PREPARATION:
- Gather all the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
- In a bowl, sift the flour, the chocolate powder with a pinch of salt.
- Combine a form with butter and sprinkle with flour.
- Preheat the oven to 165°C (electric) or 180°C (gas).
PREPARATION:
Chocolate cake:
- In a blender beat the oil with the eggs, the sugar.
- Whisking constantly, gradually add the flour mixture with the chocolate and salt.
- Transfer the dough into a bowl, add hot water and mix well.
- Finally add the yeast and mix again.
- Transfer the dough into the form, which has already been greased and sprinkled.
- Place in a preheated oven and cook for about 30-45 minutes (the time may vary depending on the oven).
Chocolate coating:
- While the cake is cooking, mix the milk, butter, chocolate powder and sugar in a pan. Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference: sweeter or more bitter.
- Place over medium heat and stirring, bring to a boil.
- Turn off the heat and set aside.
Chocolate cake:
- When the cake has cooked, do the toothpick test, insert it in the center of the cake and if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
- Remove from the oven, swirl the pan lightly to see if the cake falls apart.
- Turn onto a plate or board.
FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:
- welcome the Chocolate cake on the plate or platter it will be served on.
- With a fork, pierce the cake randomly.
- Heat the chocolate coating.
- Slowly drizzle the hot icing over the cake so that it soaks into the batter.
