Which floor is the best, cheapest and safest to live in – check your house

Thinking of buying your own home? Take your time choosing a high panoramic view or a “low” building. Careful soil selection is essential!

It is believed that living above the seventh floor is not so useful. Several factors influence this.

  • Fire safety. In the event of a fire or natural disaster, residents on upper floors may have problems evacuating. Elevators are turned off (and you just can’t use them!), and stairs may be inaccessible. In addition, the higher location makes it difficult for firefighters to access the fire.

  • Ventilation problems. Some high-rise buildings have limited access to fresh air, which can lead to respiratory and health issues. Of course, there is a way out: our own ventilation systems in the apartment. But not everyone can afford such climate systems.

Floors one through three are the dirtiest and busiest. All the dust will fly into your windows and it’s hard to get rid of the noise.

Therefore, the best choice would be the fourth to seventh floors. And a trick of life: apartments on these floors are just as good because the neighbors downstairs will heat your apartment during the heating season. Nothing, but nice!
