Penne with spinach and walnut sauce
Preparation time: 1 hour
Performance: 4 portions
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of penne (500g)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 2 cups of milk (tea)
- 1 cup spinach (chopped)
- 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 1 jar of light cream
- Grated Parmesan for dusting
Method of preparation:
- In a pan, over medium heat, cook the pasta in boiling salted water, leaving it al dente.
- Run and book
- Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, heat the butter and saute the onion until golden brown
- Add the flour and fry for 2 minutes
- Pour in the milk, a little at a time, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
- Add the spinach, walnuts, cream, salt, pepper and cook until boiling
- Sprinkle over the pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan and serve immediately.
