Penne with spinach and walnut sauce

Preparation time: 1 hour

Performance: 4 portions

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of penne (500g)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 2 cups of milk (tea)
  • 1 cup spinach (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 1 jar of light cream
  • Grated Parmesan for dusting

Method of preparation:

  1. In a pan, over medium heat, cook the pasta in boiling salted water, leaving it al dente.
  2. Run and book
  3. Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, heat the butter and saute the onion until golden brown
  4. Add the flour and fry for 2 minutes
  5. Pour in the milk, a little at a time, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  6. Add the spinach, walnuts, cream, salt, pepper and cook until boiling
  7. Sprinkle over the pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan and serve immediately.
