A haven to disconnect, recharge and breathe. This was the premise of architect Cilene Lupi in designing the environment “A house for the press break”, at the 36th edition of CASACOR São Paulo, which addresses the theme Body & Morada and which has the partnership of Casa Riachuelo, LG and Disney.
The space has been designed to be home to a young Generation Z, combining nostalgic elements of the past with a focused vision on the future and its many opportunities.
“Every curve of the environment connects with its roots and its memories. The colors of the space reflect warmth, intensity, light and comfort. The house is a break from routine and from his favorite activity: playing”, reveals Cilene.

design with meaning
The universe player occupies the central space of the environment. In the area dedicated to games, the curvilinear details, such as the player’s portal and bench designed by the Mada joinery, are accentuated and enhanced by the lighting.
Raquel Gorzalka’s art, which refers to the aesthetics of games and fantasy, brings an experiment on colors that connects to the rest of the project. Also new is the new Ultra Gear LG Monitor, a launch in collaboration with the space signed by the architect.
With 88 m², the project also includes a living room, a kitchen, a balcony and a bedroom that save the essence and the affectionate memories, so that the rest of the apartment also brings functionality and comfort for moments of rest.
“There was a lot of concern about the relationship we have built between our two homes: the inside and the outside. The inside, limited to our body, needs care, comfort and peace, things we can find in our outer house, the one that embraces us every day, protects us and allows us to flow,” reflects Cilene.
An ode to Disney and childhood at the 36th edition of CASACOR
For the decoration, the architect looked for elements inspired by the emotional connections of Generation Z. “In the theme of accessories and clothing, we see an ode to childhood memories, where the love of fantasy was born: Disney. Emblematic characters and the perspective of a parallel life where there are no borders, where everything is possible, where you can be whatever you want,” he adds.
These are the elements that permeate the new Disney 100 line, by Casa Riachuelo, in honor of the brand’s 100-year history, which bets on the power of memories and the playful aspect to compose the environment.
At launch, the fashion house brand celebrates the classics of this universe, such as Mickey Mouse, the Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo and other iconic characters. The collection includes 100% cotton bed linen, embroidered bedspreads, bath sets and assorted decorative pillows.
As for the pottery, items from the Toy Story franchise, Monsters Inc. and other Disney Classics such as Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland, with a variety of dishes (dish and dessert), bowls and mugs.
The POP theme is also present in the work “People Look Like People”, from the Gibi series, by the artist Vik Muniz, in homage to the Disney universe and the democratization of art.
Details that make the difference
In addition to the space for CASACOR 36th edition players, the apartment brings other highlights, such as the kitchen finishes executed by Ornare, which suit the choice of Silestone Cincel Gray – Suede HybriQ+, by Cosentino. The worktop in Dekton Umber – Kraftizen Collection by Cosentino derives from the wall in Earthy Amber by Coral in tone on tone, complete color palette.
The room, warm and inviting, brought a pleasant mat center, whose prototype was designed by the architect and developed by Maiori Casa, where a seat springs organically from the floor, evolving the premise of “sitting on the floor”, so common among young people and, therefore, the character, attributing sophistication and innovation to this piece.
Also in the living room, the architect opted for the Anaconda sofa, by designer Pedro Mendes, and the organic worktop under the Television panelwhich are part of the composition of the environmental curves.
The 36th edition of CASACOR SP takes place until August 6 at the Conjunto Nacional, at Av. Paulista, 2073. Tickets for the show are available at CASACOR official website.
