The museum Miniatur Wunderland, based in Germany, released on Friday the 14th a video showing the scene of a favela in Rio de Janeiro, in miniature. And what stands out is that a crime scene has been recreated on site.
In the scenario you can see that they have recreated a clash between police and criminals. The miniature tries to be very realistic, focusing on the details of the houses, such as the water tanks on the roofs and the commercial advertisements on the walls.
In the comments, however, many followers questioned the decision to portray crime in miniature.
“Our flaws don’t exist to be attractive to gringos. Use your ability to do amazing things that aren’t vexatious to other countries,” wrote one woman.
Another Brazilian wrote in English that most of the residents of the favela are people who work more than 10 hours a day. “The favela shouldn’t be reduced to the problems that afflict communities around the world,” he said.
