Rondônia’s rival brands have been involved in the case of a dismissed employee

Two Rondônia soft drink brands became a national topic last week: Frisky and Dydyo. Keoma de Oliveira, who was an employee of Frisky, was eventually fired from the beverage company after appearing in a photo of his son’s birthday party with two bottles of the competing soda, under the Dydyo brand, on the table.
Frisky claimed a reduction in employees to justify the machine operator’s firing, but could not prove with documents the real reason for the firing of the employee, who believes he was fired for posing with the rival brand at the time personal. For this reason, the company was ordered to compensate Keoma R$7,000.
Days after the news went viral, a turnaround: Dydyo decided to hire Keoma to work at the company. As a result, both brands gained national exposure. In the comments on social networks, many people were surprised, since they had never heard of or consumed such soft drinks.

Sparkling soft drinks
Frisky branded soft drinks started to be produced in late 2010. There are 6 different soda flavors: Frisky Uva, Frisky Laranja, Frisky Cola, Frisky Guaraná, Frisky Limão and Frisky Baína.
The Frisky brand is part of Indústria Femar, located in the municipality of Ariquemes. Femar is recognized by as one of the largest companies in the state of Rondônia in the soft drinks segment.
In addition to Frisky soft drinks, the company produces and sells the Tampico juice brands, Puragua mineral water, and Blue Ray energy drink.
Frisky drinks are marketed only in the state of Rondônia. Thus, people from other states of the country may have found the name of local brands strange.
Dydyo soft drinks
According to the brand’s official website, Dydyo Refrigerantes was born from the friendship of two students, the young Cley Muniz and Robisson Dorner, who together started the factory in the state of Rondônia 22 years ago.
The company’s headquarters are in Porto Velho, the capital of Rondônia, but Keoma has to work in the logistics area in Ariquemes, also in Rondônia, the city where he lives and where the company has a distribution center.
Another curiosity is that Dydyo is the only beverage company in Rondônia that fills its own cans.
In the Dydyo soft drink catalog there are 10 variants: Dydyo Cola, Dydyo Cristal (soda), Dydyo Raspberry, Dydyo Graviola, Dydyo Guaraná, Dydyo Guaraná Champagne (also in the zero sugar version), Dydyo Laranja, Dydyo Limão, Dydyo Tubaína and Dydio Grape.
The soft drinks that caused all the controversy and probably Keoma’s resignation were Dydyo Cola and Dydyo Grape.
