Ana Furtado she used Instagram, this Friday (01), to give her fans great news: she has one month left to finish her breast cancer treatment and be considered 100% cured of the disease. The presenter discovered early stage breast cancer 5 years ago.

Former contractor of TV Globo decided to share the news with fans as he prepared to embark on a vacation trip with Boninho. “I’m flying here, going to New York, on vacation! I wanted to share something amazing with you! It’s a month until I finish taking my hormone blocker and consider myself completely cured. Vitória is there, oh! Almost! 1 month “, he said.

Enthusiastic, Ana still stressed the certainty of recovery. “Exactly 1 month to go until my full recovery! Victory is right there. I see it close, close…I always see it! And I’m sure it’s mine!” she wrote.

Ana underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions and underwent surgery to remove the tumor. The cancer has now been in remission for five years. Since then, she has started taking estrogen blockers, which help patients in remission prevent the disease from coming back, by blocking estrogen in breast cells.
