Brigadier In The Microwave
ingredients
- 395 g of condensed milk
- 4 tablespoons of chocolate powder
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- Chocolate sprinkles to decorate
Preparation method
In a microwave-safe container, mix all the ingredients except the chocolate sprinkles. Place it in the microwave for 6 minutes on high power. Pause halfway and mix. Put it back in the microwave to finish cooking. Then remove from the microwave and mix until you obtain a smooth and shiny dough. Place in the refrigerator to cool. Then roll up the sweets, roll them in the sprinkles and arrange them in the moulds.
Carrot’s Brigadeiro
ingredients
- 1 grated carrot approximately
- 1 cup of water
- 1 1/2 cups powdered milk
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- Melted chocolate for garnish
- Margarine for greasing
Preparation method
Blend the carrot, water, milk powder, corn starch and sugar in a blender until you obtain a smooth mixture. Transfer to a pan, add margarine and heat over low heat, stirring until the bottom of the pan appears. Pour onto a lightly greased baking tray and leave to cool. With your hands greased with margarine, form balls and pour the melted chocolate over them.
Strawberry Brigadeiro
ingredients
- 395 g of condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 2 drops of essence strawberry
- 1 egg yolk
- Pink colored sugar to decorate
- Margarine for greasing
Preparation method
In a pan mix all the ingredients except the colored sugar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes away from the bottom of the pan. Pour onto a lightly greased baking tray and leave to cool. With your hands greased with margarine, form balls and roll them in colored sugar. Serve immediately.
Brigadeiro Carmelo
ingredients

- 395 g of condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder
- 15 cherries in syrup
- Margarine for greasing
Caramel syrup
- 2 teacups of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
Preparation method

In a pan, mix the condensed milk, margarine and chocolate powder. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes away from the bottom of the pan. Transfer to a plate greased with margarine and wait for it to cool.
Assembly
Drain the cherries and cut them in half. Roll up the brigadeiros and arrange the cherry halves on the sides, securing them with a toothpick. Spread onto a plate greased with margarine and place in the freezer until firm.
Caramel syrup
Place the sugar, water and vinegar in a pan and place over a low heat. Mix and let boil, without stirring, until you obtain a golden syrup. Remove the brigadeiros from the freezer and dip them in the syrup, securing them with a toothpick. Spread them out on baking paper to dry. Wait for it to cool and then serve.
