Hidden ground meat

Time: 1h20

Performance: 6 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of potatoes
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 700 g of minced meat
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • 1 ripe tomato cut into pieces
  • Salt, black pepper and chopped green chilli
  • 100 g of grated mozzarella

Preparation method:

  1. Cook the potato in boiling salted water until tender
  2. Pass through the still hot centrifuge, mix with the hot milk and margarine and set aside
  3. Heat a large pan with oil and then brown the minced meat over a medium heat until all the water has dried up.
  4. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes
  5. Add the tomato, salt, pepper and green chillies and leave on the heat for another 1 minute.
  6. Spread the stew in a 39cm x 23cm refractory pan and cover with the puree
  7. Sprinkle with mozzarella and bake in a preheated medium oven for 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
  8. Remove and serve immediately
