Homemade jaboticaba jelly recipe

Preparation time: 2 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1.3 kg of freshly squeezed jabuticaba juice
  • 1kg of sugar

Preparation method:

  1. In a pan, heat the squeezed jabuticaba over low heat, stirring occasionally, until boiling.
  2. Remove and filter with a fine cloth.
  3. Discard the pomace and return the broth to the pan.
  4. Add the sugar and mix until completely dissolved.
  5. In a pan, heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it reaches the jelly stage. If necessary, remove any foam that forms during cooking with a slotted spoon.
  6. Remove from the heat, leave to cool and store in a closed container until ready to serve.
