PROVOLONE CHIPS Ingredients
– 500 g of fresh smoked provolone (cylinder) (optional)
– dried oregano to taste (optional) THE
PREPARATION:
- Separate the ingredients and utensils from the recipe.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
PREPARATION:
Provolone chips;
- Slice the provolone thinly and evenly. The cut must preferably remove entire slices, without breaking them. Use a mandolin, set to the “thickest” part, if you have one.
- Arrange the provolone slices in the pan(s), without overlapping them.
- Place in the oven for 4-8 minutes (6 minutes were enough in our test).
- The chips will be ready when they are golden.
- Remove from the oven, place on a wire rack, leave to cool.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve the provola chips as a snack, or as an accompaniment to dishes, such as soups, salads and other second courses.
