3 seafood snacks for the weekend

Although many consider preparing fish dishes to be a complicated task, the truth is that they are incredibly versatile and practical to cook. Plus, many can easily be made into delicious appetizers. Therefore, we have separated 3 snack recipes to prepare at home.

Breaded prawns

ingredients

  • 400 g of cleaned prawns
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 6 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • Fry oil
  • Salt, ground black pepper and lemon to taste

Preparation method

In a bowl, season the prawns with salt, black pepper and lemon. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Place the egg, wheat flour and breadcrumbs. Then, dip the shrimp in the wheat flour, eggs and breadcrumbs. Fry in a pan with hot oil, over medium heat, until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve immediately.

Tip: serve with lemon wedges.

Calamari Dore

ingredients

  • 500 g of calamari
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 heads of garlic, juiced
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of you of wheat flour
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • Fry oil

Preparation method

Clean the squid in a bowl. Wash the tentacles and cut them into rings. In a container, season the squid with lemon juice, garlic, salt and black pepper. Reserve. Pour the wheat flour into another container, season with a pinch of salt and set aside. In a deep pan, add the oil and a lemon wedge and place over medium heat to heat. Lightly coat the squid rings in the wheat flour and place them in the oil to fry until golden brown. Remove them with a slotted spoon and let them drain on absorbent paper.

  • 500 g of chopped and cleaned crab meat
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 1 grated onion
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of soup of palm oil
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt, chopped chives and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 skinless tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • Grated Parmesan for gratinating

Preparation method

In a large, deep pan over low heat, heat the oil. Brown the onion and garlic. Add the crab meat, tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes. add coconut milk and season with salt, black pepper and chives. Mix well for 5 minutes and fill the cones. Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in a low oven until golden brown. Serve immediately.
