Crazy meat pie recipe

Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk (tea)
  • 1 jar of natural yogurt (200 g)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (tea) oil
  • 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) corn starch
  • 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of chemical yeast
  • Oil and wheat flour for greasing

Filling

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded meat
  • 1/2 cup (tea) tomato sauce
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cube of meat broth
  • Salt and chopped green chilli to taste

Preparation method:

  1. For the filling, heat a pan with olive oil and fry the onion, pepper and meat for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes, meat broth, season with salt and chives and cook for another 5 minutes. Turn off and set aside.
  3. For the dough, blend the milk, yogurt, eggs, oil and cornstarch in a blender for 2 minutes.
  4. Transfer it into a bowl, add the flour, salt, yeast and mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  5. Pour half the dough into a greased and floured 25cm x 35cm baking pan, place the filling on top and cover with the rest of the dough.
  6. Bake in a preheated medium oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve crazy meat pie.
