La Vie Est Belle, by Lancôme, is development of the women’s perfume and a sales success in France which also conquered Brazilian women and perfumery enthusiasts from all over the world. Did you know that approximately one bottle of this fragrance is sold in Brazil? In France, this average is even more surprising: at least two La Vie Est Belle perfumes are sold every minute.

This beloved label belongs to the olfactory family of floral perfumes – very popular in Brazil – and was created by perfumers Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge and Ropion Dominique. In its gourmand floral composition it combines elements such as jasmine, orange blossom, cassis or blackcurrant, patchouli, vanilla, praline and pear.

The perfume bottle was developed over 70 years ago

Another curiosity about this iconic Lancôme fragrance is that its bottle, entitled “The crystal smile”, retains the same design as when it was created, way back in 1949. That’s 74 years of pure tradition!

The person responsible for developing the packaging was the founder of the brand, Armand Petitjean, with the help of George Delhomme, artistic director of the brand.

La Vie est Belle Eau de Parfum is available in Brazil in five volumes, 30 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml and 150 ml. Respectively, each of them costs, on average, R $ 429, R $ 609, R $ 829 and R $ 929. Furthermore, there is a 100 ml refill with an average price of R $ 729.
