Holistic therapist Mariana Tortella reveals how to use crystals to purify and rebalance the energy of environments

Holistic therapist Mariana Tortella explains that the idea of using crystals to energize home environments is associated with practices such as Feng Shui, which helps bring harmony and balance back to life.
“Holistic therapies are a great way to do an energetic cleansing to eliminate excesses. This way you can free yourself from the unconscious power of past recordings and simplify the act of achieving new goals and projects,” she says.
Choose your crystal
The first step to carrying out energetic cleansing is choosing the crystal best suited to your goals. The holistic therapist mentions the main ones and explains the function of each:
- crystal Quartz: Quartz crystal has properties that amplify energy, being often used to energize spaces;
- Agate: The Agate stone can bring energetic balance and stability, as well as blessings;
- Amethyst: Amethyst is known for its calming, connective and protective properties.
- Obsidian: Obsidian stone can help absorb negative energies from the environment;
- Black Tourmaline: Black Tourmaline helps increase protection against harmful energies.
Cleaning the windows
Even before carrying out the energetic cleansing of the environments, it is necessary to clean the crystals to eliminate any unwanted energy from the object. This cleaning must be done at least once a month.
The ideal is to wash the crystals in running water and leave them in the light of the sun or moon, or even in a radionic de-impregnating paper, which helps to de-impregnate the energies from the crystals and stones.
“But be careful, because some of them are soluble in water, so they cannot be exposed to liquids for a long time,” explains Tortella.

“In the bathroom you can use Obsidian, which promotes a deep cleansing of all the energy that needs to go away. In the living room and office, Agate and Transparent Quartz are recommended, which will attract lightness and energetic stability”, concludes Mariana.
