Regardless of the flavour, they are all delicious: from the most classic pavé, such as the passion fruit one, to the most unusual version. Pavetone is a delicious cake made from panettone, assembled in layers and decorated with apricots. The cream that makes up the dessert is light and balances the flavor of the dish, while the walnuts add consistency to the recipe. Pavetone is everyone’s favorite!
Pavetone recipe with walnut cream
Time: 40min (+2h in the fridge)

Ingredients:
- 2 cans of cold whey-free cream
- 2 pots of natural yogurt (400g)
- 300 ml of cold milk
- 1 sachet of vanilla flavored instant pudding powder
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 sachet of tasteless and colorless gelatine powder
- 5 cups leftover panettone cut into large pieces
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (reserve some for decoration)
- 5 apricots cut into strips to decorate
Preparation method:
- In a blender, beat the cream, yogurt, milk, pudding powder, sugar and gelatine (dissolved according to the instructions on the package) until you obtain a very creamy mixture.
- On a serving plate, alternate layers of panettone, cream and chopped hazelnuts, finishing with the cream.
- Decorate with the walnuts and apricots set aside and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving the pavetone.
