At the next Milan men’s fashion week, from 12 to 16 January 2024, the public will follow 22 physical and five digital catwalks, 32 presentations and eight events, for a total of 74 appointments.
This new men’s fashion week is part of an economic context that closed 2023 with a 4% increase in revenues for the Italian fashion sector.
For 2024, a revenue increase of between 3% and 4% is expected.
Among the new features planned is the return to the calendar of brands such as Fendi and Gucci. For the first time, the Pronounce and Stone Island brands will be present on the calendar.
“For the first time, Stone Island is showing, an important brand for Italy that has never shown at fashion week, so it will be a highly anticipated debut. Let’s say it will be more than a fashion show, it will be a very special show”, explained Carlo Capasa, president of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion.
«In addition to the catwalks, appointments and presentations, we will also have 13 million people who will see the fashion shows in live streaming. I think it is an incredible number, even if obviously the numbers of the female audience are much higher”, added Capasa.
The brands Domenico Orefice, Institution By Galib Gassanoff, LaTorre, Mordecai, Noskra, Rubeus Milano, Stuart Weitzman, ViaPiave33, Woolrich Black Label By Todd Snyder will be presented for the first time on the calendar.
