New year, new habits! How about making it to 2024 with healthy, glowing skin? I’ve brought you a powerful step-by-step guide for you to copy. But before any treatment, it is essential to start with a deep cleansing, to remove impurities and residues. Use cold or lukewarm water together with a liquid soap with a neutral formula for an effective but delicate cleansing that does not dry the dermis.

But what about exfoliant, Roseli? Avoid. When you take care of your skin daily, you don’t need to exfoliate. And if it is or is sensitive, the action of the exfoliant will remove what remains of the natural barrier, which could worsen acne and blemishes.

With your face clean and dry, apply a chocolate mask. The active ingredient (cocoa) is biotechnological, that is, it works with the cells of the germinal layer and gives a lifting effect, helping to firm and revitalize. Apply it to a clean, dry face, leaving it to act for 20 minutes before removing it.

I also brought a homemade recipe with chocolate. Write it down:

  • 200 grams of chocolate with more than 70% cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon 100% natural oil (pumpkin, sunflower and coconut seeds)

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and add the oil. Mix well and leave to cool. Apply to the face with a brush (can be silicone or cat’s tongue). Leave to act for 20 minutes and rinse well with warm water. If you want, you can also apply it to your body.

This mask should be done at least 15 days apart, as excessive use can make the skin oily and cause acne. In this video I teach you step by step how to use the chocolate mask:

So, moisturize your skin. Remember to apply the cream with light, circular movements. Don’t rub your fingers, because when you stretch the skin, it encourages sagging. Don’t forget to apply it on your neck and extend it up to your chest, a very overlooked area when it comes to skincare.

Finally we come to the lips. Here you can exfoliate, as long as the skin is not chapped, as it may bleed. If you have those hairs, in addition to drinking a lot of water, because this means lack of hydration, you can mix a teaspoon of sugar, with a few drops of 100% natural oil, and massage it on your lips. Then rinse and moisturize with the same oil.

In this video I teach you how to prepare your skin on holidays: press play!

I want to thank you for following me here, in Manequim. I hope you have an enlightened 2024. I’ll see you next week. A kiss, Roseli.
