Neither coffee nor lunch: 5 places to have brunch in SP

Brunch is a great choice for those days when all you want to do is change a meal. See some specialized addresses

How about a brunch to liven up the weekend ahead? It is a light and relaxed option, which combines breakfast and lunch, and has everything to do with those days when we want to wake up late, but without giving up the possibility of enjoying a good meal. Several cafes, patisseries and restaurants in the capital of São Paulo strive to create special brunch menus, filled with creative and substantive suggestions. Below, take a look at some of them.

Brazilian chaos

Chef Bruno Hoffmann’s new colonial café is served only one Sunday a month, 11am – 3pm (to know the right day, follow @caosbrasilis). For R $ 85 per person, excellent breads come to the table, such as cocoa and coffee bread, brioche mandioquinha and waffle of cheese bread. Along with butter, fruit compote and homemade ricotta, as well as Frios do Caos (ham, terrine, carbonated cheese with cashew molasses and fresh mines).

The purple corn polenta is a special case, as is the iced coconut tapioca cake, which is part of the dessert section. Tip: eat the perfect egg with cassava foam and bottled butter as soon as it arrives on the table (once cooled it loses its flavor completely). Reps and drinks, including coffee, are charged separately.
