On January 5th MIS experiencein São Paulo, opened ‘Chaves: The Exhibition’, considered the largest exhibition dedicated to the ‘Chaves’ and ‘Chapolin’ series, two of Roberto Gómez Bolaños’ best-known creations.

The exhibition, which celebrates 40 years of Chaves, Brazil, is located in a space of more than one thousand m², where the visitor circulates through 26 scenes with more than two thousand pieces donated by the Bolaños family, such as personal objects, scenic objects, set and costumes for the two most famous characters of Chespirito, as the comedian was known.

“It’s a journey into the world of Chaves and the Chespirito group. It will truly be a step back in time,” says Felipe Pinheiro, of Boldly Go Entretenimento, one of the directors of the exhibition.

With tickets ranging from R$20 to R$60, the exhibition has free entry on Tuesdays throughout the Sao Paulo season, the end date of which has not been announced.

To guarantee free access, visitors must collect tickets at the physical ticket office on the day of their visit.

Since 2019 MIS Experience is a branch of the Museum of Image and Sound, in Água Branca, with immersive thematic exhibitions that involve the visitor “sensorially and emotionally”. Since then the space has hosted attractions dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, Cândido Portinari and Michelangelo.
