For those who want to improve the appearance of their skin and prevent the signs of natural aging, facial yoga specialist, Aline Senatore, creator of the Xô Rugas method, has shared four facial gymnastics exercises that help reduce wrinkles and double chin. Watch!

Forehead

The habit of frowning daily contributes to the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead. To strengthen the muscle in the region, hold both hands above your eyebrow and perform the frowning movement for 20 repetitions.

Crow’s feet

With your index and middle fingers in a “V” shape, hold your hairline in the same area as your eyes and close for 30 seconds. Exercise helps reduce “crow’s feet,” those wrinkles that appear around the eyes.

To soften the wrinkles that form around the lips, popularly known as “barcode”, make an “o” shape with your mouth and hold the corners with two fingers, pressing firmly. Perform the opening and closing motion of the “o” with your fingers pressed 20 times.

Double chin

A double chin is another sign of aging that causes great aesthetic discomfort. To improve the appearance of a double chin, cover your upper teeth with your lips, show your lower teeth, and position your chin forward. Stay in this position for 30 seconds to tone your neck.

Changing habits is essential

In addition to practicing facial gymnastics exercises, it is also necessary adopt a skin care routine which includes hydration, sun protection and quality sleep. Paying attention to these details can make a difference.
