The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival takes place at the resort and this year features topiaries by Groot, Asha and Miguel.
Did you know that the Walt Disney World has a flower and topiary festival? The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival takes place in the North American location between February 28 and May 27 and brings landscape displays inspired by the films, created by the park’s specialized team.
This year the novelty is the debut of topiaries Groot, Asha and Miguel. Topiary art is the technique of sculpting flowers and shrubs through pruning.

The beloved character from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy appears near the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction at World Discovery. In the spirit of the first season of the Disney+ series โI Am Groot,โ the character is trying to create his own topiary. Eagle-eyed visitors can spot a tribute to the horticulture team on the box that Groot holds in the air.

Also new this year is that visitors will be able to see new topiary ornaments from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Wish,” including Asha, Valentino and Estrela, at the main entrance to the park. And in Mexico, Michael and Dantefrom the film “Viva – A Vida รฉ uma Festa” by Disney Pixar, they are at the center of the scene.

As part of the magic of topiary, visitors will see everyone’s favorite dragon, Figurationin the newly opened World Celebration Gardens, and a topiary from Princess Tiana adorn The American Adventure pavilion.
Gardens to savor and enjoy

More than 25 gardens they are found throughout the park and invite visitors to take a break while they learn more about the fascinating world of plants.
Majestic displays include the floating gardens at World Nature, featuring more than 170 small gardens floating in the serene waters that line the bridge towards the World Showcase. The Blooms Festival creates a panorama of vibrant colors during the World Celebration.

Discovering the world, Songbird meadow presented by Wild Birds Unlimited attracts birds with lush flora and teaches visitors simple steps to create their own bird paradise. At the World Showcase, visitors will once again enjoy the English Tea Garden presented by Twinings, as well as tours showcasing the plants used in some of Twinings’ finest teas.
