No One Has Seen Howard’s Mom on The Big Bang Theory, But We’ll Show You

Wedding photos of Debbie to the late Mr. Wolowitz, Howard’s father, decorate the scenes of their shared home. You can see them, but it’s not clear what kind of woman is depicted in them – she doesn’t particularly look like actress Carol Ann Susie, who actually played the role of Howard’s mother.

Even though we didn’t see Debbie, we heard her perfectly: Mom preferred to yell loudly at Howard throughout the house, making extremely frank comments that made her son and all his friends blush.

From these screams, the audience concluded that Mrs. Wolowitz was a woman of monstrous proportions who had digestive problems, and she was willing to discuss them without any embarrassment; and also that she adores her son, and this love results in overprotection. The recognizable image secured Ms. Wolowitz worldwide recognition.

It’s ironic, but you have probably repeatedly seen actress Carol Ann Susie in other projects: she has been acting since 1974 and managed to take part in many TV series and feature films, including such famous ones as “Death him becomes” and “The Anatomy of Grace. But the pretty actress didn’t get any major roles; she reigned in the episodes. Arguably, it was The Big Bang Theory that made Carol Anne truly popular, albeit in an unusual way.

Sadly, Carol Ann died in 2014: she lost her life to cancer. The woman was only 64 years old. The series “The Big Bang Theory” was in full swing, but its creators decided not to replace the actress, although technically it would have been a completely simple task.

Debbie Wolowitz also left with Susie, a tribute to the actress who played a unique role. His raspy voice and hilarious one-liners will forever be part of the success of one of the most popular television series of the 21st century.
