Chop suey – Chinese rice, colorful and very tasty, which can be prepared with leftovers

Recipe for 4 people.

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

CHOP SUEY Ingredients

– 3 cups cooked rice

– 1/2 carrot(s), peeled and cut into cubes

– 150 g of cooked ham, diced

– 3 units of beaten eggs

– Salt to taste

– oil to taste

– sesame oil to taste

– green onion to taste, cut into rings

PREPARATION:

  1. If you are cooking rice, use ¾ cup of tea for every 2 servings.
  2. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  3. Wash and peel the carrot and cut it into cubes.
  4. Also cut the ham into cubes, the same size as the carrot cubes.
  5. Break the eggs into a bowl and beat them to combine.
  6. Wash and dry the green onion and cut it into rings.

PREPARATION:

Chop Suey:

  1. Place a large pan or wok over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil.
  2. When hot, add the carrot cubes, season with salt and cook, stirring, until they start to become soft.
  3. Arrange the carrot on one side of the pan, place the beaten eggs on the other side, season with a little more salt and mix to thicken.
  4. Mix the eggs and carrot cubes, and break the eggs well, so that they are in small pieces.
  5. Add the ham and cooked rice and mix.
  6. Keep the pan over medium heat and stir until everything is incorporated and heated through.
  7. Turn off the heat and add the sesame oil and the green onion rings.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve the mince suey hot as an accompaniment to your meal.
