The preparation must be done in a container and the result is melted and tasty
If you love making everything in the air fryer and are unsure if you’ll be able to make that fresh rice to complete your lunch, your problems are over!
You can prepare the recipe and the result will be tasty and melty, similar to preparing the pan on the stove. The secret is to use a container that can go into the fryer to prepare the dish and not try to do it directly in the basket, as the water added to the recipe can damage the appliance and leave it “soggy”.
Use an oven-safe mold made of glass, ceramic, metal or silicone.
Check out the recipe below and enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, pressed
1 onion chopped
1 ½ cups washed rice
3 cups of hot water
Salt to taste
Preparation method
1. Preheat the fryer for 5 minutes at 180°.
2. In a suitable pan, add the olive oil, garlic and onion and cook for 3 minutes at 180°.
3. Add the rice, mix and, at the same temperature, fry it for another 3 minutes.
4. Add the hot water and salt to the pan, being careful not to drop it into the fryer, mix well and let sit for another 20 minutes.
5. When the time is up, place a spoon in the center of the rice and check if it has reached the right point. If not, leave it on for another 5 minutes.
