Very easy to prepare crispy aubergines that can be served as a side dish or snack




A delicious aubergine recipe prepared to be crispy.

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Ingredients for crispy aubergines

– 1 unit of aubergine cut into cubes of approximately 2 cm

– Salt to taste

-oil to taste for frying

– 1 clove of garlic, unpeeled, slightly crushed

– soft wheat flour to taste for the breading

– 1/2 tablespoon(s) of dried oregano

– 1/4 spoon(s) of chilli pepper

PREPARATION:

  1. Start by soaking the aubergines. Wash the aubergines under running water and dry them with absorbent paper.
  2. Cut the aubergines into cubes of about 2 cm. Place it in a bowl and add the salt. Cover with water and set aside.
  3. Set the remaining ingredients and utensils from the recipe aside.

PREPARATION:

Crispy aubergines:

  1. Drain the aubergines in a colander.
  2. Dry very well with a paper towel.
  3. Heat a deep pan over high heat with the oil and lightly crushed garlic.
  4. Place the wheat flour in a plastic bag and add the aubergine cubes.
  5. Shake the bag so that the flour covers all the cubes.
  6. Transfer the cubes to a sieve and blend, eliminating excess flour.
  7. When the oil is hot, fry the aubergine cubes – if they don’t all fit, do it in several steps – until they are golden and crispy.
  8. Drain them with a slotted spoon and spread them on a baking tray covered with absorbent paper.
  9. Sprinkle with oregano and chilli and mix well.
  10. Reserve.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Download the crunchy aubergines on a serving plate or, if you prefer, place it on plates, next to the main course.
  2. In addition to accompanying various types of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan ones, crunchy aubergines can be served as a delicious snack.
