Cerro Catedral, the main ski center in Bariloche, Argentina, has brought forward the start of the winter season due to the historic cold front crossing the region. This will be the longest winter season on record, starting Friday, June 7. In Chile, Valle Nevado and Portillo also brought forward the season due to snowfall arriving earlier.

The Refugio Lynch, Punta Nevada, El Cabo, Cabaña 1600 and El Barrilete stops will also be available.

Ski passes at Cerro Catedral are valid for one afternoon and cost from 99,500 Argentine pesos (which is equivalent to approximately R$428.22, at parallel exchange rates). It is possible to make the purchase via the site.
Another possibility is the 5 or 7 day Flexipass. With this type of ticket it is possible to use the season tickets both in 2024 and in the following season, if the tourist is unable to use all the tickets at the same time.
