Shortcrust pastry chips ingredients:
– shortcrust pastry to taste
– Salt to taste
– parmesan to taste (optional)
– dried oregano to taste (optional) (or dried herbs de Provence)
Ingredients FOR GREASING/BRUSHING:
– oil to taste (or olive oil)
PREPARATION:
- Separate the utensils and ingredients for the recipe.
- Preheat the oven: heat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease one or more molds with oil or olive oil.
PREPARATION:
- Roll out the shortcrust pastry (roll). Scale the amount you prepare to taste.
- Brush the top with oil or olive oil.
- Cut the pastry into triangles or whatever shape you like on the plastic sheet. Use a knife or pizza cutter to make this easier.
- Season with salt, pepper and sprinkle with parmesan.
- Invert plastic onto greased baking sheets. Brush the pastry with olive oil or olive oil.
- Keep the pastry board with the cut out triangles, it is not necessary to break it.
- Add toppings: Sprinkle salt to taste over triangles. If desired, add grated parmesan and oregano or other dried herbs.
- Cooking: Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the triangles are golden and crispy. Turn halfway if necessary.
- Remove from the oven when they are ready.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve the shortcrust pastry flakes as an appetizer or snack, or even to complete dishes or accompany soups.
