Festival Revelando SP announces programming in Iguape


For four days the event on the southern coast of Sao Paulo will feature crafts, cuisine and stands from Oswaldo Montenegro, among others

After seven years, the festival Revealing SP return to Iguape , on the southern coast of São Paulo, with programming to enhance the traditional cultures of São Paulo. The event will take place from 14 to 16 June at the Prefeito Casimiro Teixeira Events Center.




After Iguape the festival goes to São José dos Campos (from 4 to 7 July), President Prudente (from 9 to 11 August) e St. Paul (from 12 to 15 September).

In Iguape the festival will have 65 participants representing 42 municipalities of São Paulo with artisan and culinary stands.

The public will be able to enjoy cachaças, biscuits, jams, jellies and liqueurs, as well as freshly prepared dishes, such as moqueca caiçara and palm and peach risotto with plantain puree. Among the handicraft products stand out wooden dolls, crochet, tapestries, carvings and productions of the indigenous and quilombole communities.

Over the four days the public will also be able to follow various cultural events, such as viola moda, catira, congada, catira, folia de reis, jongo, fandango and cururu. Country duets and solo singers complete the menu of artistic performances.
