Treatments for atopic dermatitis

Treatment of atopic dermatitis involves regularly moisturizing the skin and using topical medications such as corticosteroids and calcineurin inhibitors to reduce inflammation and itching. In some cases it disappears or decreases significantly in adulthood.

Daily life with atopic dermatitis: what to do?

The doctor recommends that people suffering from atopic dermatitis adopt daily practices to keep the skin well hydrated, wear cotton clothing and avoid irritating fabrics such as wool.
