Old style townhouse
The cozy village house that houses the Estúdio Penha, where eight architects work, has been embellished with a composition of 1940s tiles designed with delicate blue terminals.
In addition to the roof, the entryway received fluted glass on the pitch, an amber-colored jackfruit dome lamp, and plastic-shell chairs made by Marfiarte starting in the 1960s.
“Objects that have a story contain meaning and give identity to our home,” believes architect Vitor Penha.
Preserved elements
The windows, finishes and wooden door jambs of a charming 1931 apartment have been maintained and restored.
“I painted only part of the sheets white, an expedient to highlight the design of these elements and make the environment lighter”, says architect and resident Marcel Steiner.

He also recovered the peroba taco and decorated it with the hydraulic tile that borders the kitchen, this one covered with green tiles from the 1940s. In the living room, an antique Forma table and 19th century English furniture.

A architect Priscilla D’Attilio In his new home, he remembered some details of the small village house he had lived in during his childhood. And so your bathroom has gained prominence.

“At first I wanted a pink sink like the original one in the house I lived in. But when I found the green model, I fell in love,” says the architect, who bought the piece in a porcelain storage room.
To complete the space, Priscila included a ground mirror (Ed Vidro), rectangular tiles (Eliane) and hydraulic tiles (Vianarte).
