The delivery man was killed after the crime which took away 400 designer bags

On Tuesday (25) the body of the Italian-Argentine deliveryman Nicolas Matias Del Rio, 40 years old, who disappeared in Tuscany, Italy, was found while carrying a load of 400 Gucci bags, worth 500 thousand euros (R $ 2.9 million ).

The Grosseto Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the case as manslaughter and kidnapping. The episode occurred in the Monte Amiata region, in southern Tuscany.

Three men have already been arrested: Klodjan Gjoni, a 33-year-old Albanian, and the Turks Ozgur Bozkurt, 44, and Kaia Emre, 28, who were already under investigation for robbery and vandalism.

They were recognized thanks to surveillance cameras.

Gjoni was found while trying to board a flight to Tirana from Ciampino airport.

There are still two suspects: Niko Gjoni, Klodian’s father, and Zindan Bozkurt, Ozgur’s relative. Investigators believe up to 10 people were involved in the crime.

The body was found near Arcidosso, in Grosseto. The courier would have been killed after the theft of the goods.

It was found on a cliff near a country house in Case Sallustri, where leather accessories were found weeks ago that Gucci itself confirmed were part of the stolen shipment.

The delivery van driven by Del Rio had already been found on fire.

The victim’s family has been informed. The messenger left behind his wife and a young son. .
