On Thursday, June 20, a man was rescued alive after being missing for 10 days in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, United States. Lukas McClish, 34, went on a three-hour hike in Big Basin Redwood State Park on June 11. Due to the recent wildfires in the region, Lukas was left without a location marker and lost.
On the days when he was lost, the man, who carried only scissors and a flashlight, he lost 13kg. To survive, the American claims to have taken it waterfall from natural sources, such as waterfalls, and feeding on wild fruits. “If you drink a liter and a half of water every day, you won’t need food until you run out carbohydrates“he said in an interview with the New York Times.
