July 7 is World Chocolate Day, one of the favorite sweets of Brazilians. Used in the preparation of various foods, including savory ones, it is widely known for its unique flavor, but it is also an important agent for maintaining health, especially 70% cocoa.

Chocolate pudding
ingredients
- 395 g of condensed milk
- 1 cup chopped chocolate
- 250 g of milk cream
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of powdered milk
- 300 ml of milk
Preparation method
In a blender, place the condensed milk, chocolate, cream, eggs, powdered milk and milk and blend until smooth. Then, place the mixture in a pudding mold and place in a preheated oven at 180ºC, in a bain-marie, for 45 minutes. Turn off the oven, wait for it to cool, unmold and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Chicken with chocolate sauce
ingredients
Chicken
- 10 thighs chicken
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Chocolate sauce
- 2 cups of chocolate powder
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation method
Place the chicken thighs in a bowl and season with salt, black pepper and garlic. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 1 hour. Then transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at medium heat for 1 hour. Turn off the oven and set aside. Add the chocolate, cornstarch, soy sauce and chicken stock to a pan and mix well. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Turn off the heat, pour the sauce over the chicken and serve.
Chocolate soup white
ingredients
- 350g chopped white chocolate
- 500 g of cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 200 g cornstarch biscuits
- White chocolate chips for decoration
Preparation method
In a pan, arrange the chocolate white chocolate and half of the cream and cook over medium heat until melted, stirring constantly. Turn off the heat, wait for it to cool and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. In a mixer add the remaining cream and sugar and beat until you get a whipped cream. Remove the chocolate from the refrigerator, pour the whipped cream over it and mix until you get a mousse.
Then, in a refractory container, make a layer with the mousse and another with the biscuits. Repeat the process until the entire container is filled. Finish with the mousse. Sprinkle with white chocolate and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve immediately.

Pastry shop with brigadeiro
ingredients
- 395 g of condensed milk

- 500 g of dough for Fried pasta

Preparation method
Place the condensed milk, chocolate powder and butter in a pan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it no longer sticks to the bottom of the pan. Turn off the heat, add the cream and stir until combined with the other ingredients. Reserve.
On a smooth surface, roll out the pastry and cut out a rectangle. Using a spoon, scoop out a bit of brigadeiro, place it on top of the dough and fold it in half. Press the edges with a fork and repeat with the entire dough. In a deep skillet, add the oil and place over medium heat to heat. Using a slotted spoon, gradually add the pastries to the skillet and fry until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel-lined bowl and serve immediately.
Milk powder candies with chocolate shell
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 2 tablespoons of xylitol
- 2 cups of tea milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 50 g chopped chocolate
- Butter for greasing
Preparation method
Place the powdered milk and xylitol in a bowl and stir. Add the vanilla essence and gradually add the milk. Stir until smooth. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Reserve. In a pan, add the chopped chocolate and heat over medium heat until melted. Add the coconut oil and stir to combine. Turn off the heat and set aside.
Next, remove the dough from the refrigerator and, using a spoon, take a small portion and shape it into a ball. Dip it in the chocolate syrup and place it in a buttered container. Repeat with the entire dough and place in the refrigerator until the chocolate has dried. Serve immediately.

- 1/4 cup of corn for the popcorn
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 6 tablespoons of water
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of chocolate powder
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Preparation method
In a pan, add the oil and popcorn and cook over medium heat until all the kernels pop. Turn off the heat, transfer the popcorn to a container and set aside. In a saucepan, add the water, chocolate powder and butter and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and stir until it reaches a brigadeiro consistency. Turn off the heat, pour the candy over the popcorn and then serve.
Ribs with chocolate sauce
ingredients
- 1.5 kg of ribs pig
- 90 g of lemon and pepper
- 100 ml of water
- 400 ml of dry red wine
- 4 cloves
- 100 g grated 70% cocoa chocolate
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation method
In a bowl, add all the ingredients except the chocolate and the meat and stir to combine. Pour the mixture over the meat in a baking dish, cover with foil and let sit for 4 hours. Then remove the foil and the broth. Place the meat in a preheated oven at 200ºC until golden brown. Meanwhile, in a pan, add the beef broth and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add the chocolate and stir to combine. Turn off the heat and season with salt. Remove the meat from the oven, drizzle with the chocolate sauce and serve immediately.
