She said the “courageous” attitude is a great opportunity to reconnect with who we were before the networks.

“Upload your unfiltered photo to the carousel and let’s go together?” she encouraged.
The post, which has more than 90 thousand likes, has received support from fans and friends of the actress who have joined the wave and posted their “selfies”. It also reflects how harmful filters can be to self-esteem and mental health.
“How can posting an unassuming photo still be an act of courage, right?! Magic filters solve almost everything in a few seconds, but we already know that this structure is expensive! We ask for peace with our self-esteem and our mental health,” she writes.
Instagram without filters
On Tuesday 27, the platform announced that it will end augmented reality (AR) filters, created by third parties, and that Only filters created by Meta itself, the owner of the social network, will be available. The measure will enter into force on January 14, 2025.
