Who is Magic Johnson?
Earvin Johnson Jr. was born on August 14, 1959 in Lansing, United States. The “magic” came fifteen years later, when he became a basketball prodigy. A sportswriter who interviewed him nicknamed him Magic because of the shocking results he was showing in the sport.
Helps many young people
In an interview with FantasticLast Sunday (1st), he said that he likes to find a balance between what he earns and charity: “Being a magician is wonderful because I get to travel the world and do things that I never dreamed of before, but I also give back for those accomplishments. I’ve given scholarships to over ten thousand young black people. So, that’s my life. It’s the balance of that success, caring for and impacting my community.”.
