Carrot Cake with Chocolate Sauce

Time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 chopped carrots
  • 2/3 cup oil (tea).
  • 2 cups sugar (tea)
  • 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing and flouring

Chocolate syrup:

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate powder (tea).
  • 1/2 cup milk (tea).
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Preparation method:

  1. In a blender, beat the carrot, oil, eggs and sugar until smooth.
  2. Pour the flour and yeast into a bowl and mix with a spoon.
  3. Transfer to a greased and floured 22cm x 30cm cake tin, then place in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until cooked through and golden.
  4. Let it cool.
  5. Meanwhile, place the topping ingredients in a pan over low heat until it thickens slightly.
  6. Spread over the cake and then serve in pieces.
