Ingredients Tapioca cake (no-bake) or tapioca couscous:

– 250 ml of milk

– 125 g of granulated tapioca

– 25 g of dry grated coconut

– 50 ml of coconut milk

– 1/4 can(s) of condensed milk

Ingredients FOR OILING:

– oil to taste

Ingredients TO ACCOMPANY:

– sugar cane honey (molasses or sugar syrup) to taste (optional)

Ingredients TO COMPLETE:

– dry grated coconut to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. Bring the milk to the boil in a milk jug to warm it up, it does not need to boil.
  3. Grease a mold with a hole in the center with oil.

PREPARATION:

Tapioca Cake (No Bake) or Tapioca Couscous:

  1. Place the tapioca and grated coconut in a bowl and add the hot milk, mix and let it sit for about 10 minutes until lukewarm.
  2. Add the coconut milk and condensed milk and mix.
  3. Transfer the dough to the greased pan.
  4. Place in the fridge to firm up for at least 30 minutes.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Unmold the tapioca cake (no-bake) or tapioca couscous on a serving plate.
  2. Spread the grated coconut over the cake.
  3. Serve with molasses or brown sugar syrup.
