Ingredients Tapioca cake (no-bake) or tapioca couscous:
– 250 ml of milk
– 125 g of granulated tapioca
– 25 g of dry grated coconut
– 50 ml of coconut milk
– 1/4 can(s) of condensed milk
Ingredients FOR OILING:
– oil to taste
Ingredients TO ACCOMPANY:
– sugar cane honey (molasses or sugar syrup) to taste (optional)
Ingredients TO COMPLETE:
– dry grated coconut to taste
PREPARATION:
- Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
- Bring the milk to the boil in a milk jug to warm it up, it does not need to boil.
- Grease a mold with a hole in the center with oil.
PREPARATION:
Tapioca Cake (No Bake) or Tapioca Couscous:
- Place the tapioca and grated coconut in a bowl and add the hot milk, mix and let it sit for about 10 minutes until lukewarm.
- Add the coconut milk and condensed milk and mix.
- Transfer the dough to the greased pan.
- Place in the fridge to firm up for at least 30 minutes.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Unmold the tapioca cake (no-bake) or tapioca couscous on a serving plate.
- Spread the grated coconut over the cake.
- Serve with molasses or brown sugar syrup.
