The best food tours in Sao Paulo from September 27th to October 3rd

Find out what to do in Sao Paulo in the week from 27 September to 3 October with Paladar’s advice. To celebrate the arrival of spring, TUJU, one of the most starred restaurants in SP, offers a new menu combined with different flowers. Additionally, there is a wagyu experience at Rincon Escondido, a special dinner at Rancho Português, an edible jewelry exhibition with Carla Pernambuco, and finally, a pet-friendly event at Itaim Bibi. Check the details below.

The new TUJU menu brings the delicacy of flowers

Welcoming spring, two-Michelin-starred TUJU brings a flowery new menu. Chef Ivan Ralston has just launched the Humidade menu, available until December and served in twelve courses for R$990 (plus a 15% service charge).

Highlighting the delicacy of flowers, each dish is paired with a flower. In appetizers, elderflowers are garnished with green beans, savory, acerola leaves, cherry tomatoes and cherries. The nasturtium – with a slightly spicy flavor similar to watercress – is accompanied by scallops and yacon potatoes. The artichoke (which, yes, is a flower) is served with tulha cheese and okra, while the courgette flower is added to the dish with duck and pumpkin. Finally, the dessert is entrusted to the pastry chef Rhaiza Zanetti, who uses lavender and roses in different combinations.
