Meatloaf with cheese

Time: 40 minutes (+10 minutes soaking)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup wheat (tea) for kibbeh
  • 2 cups of hot water
  • 1kg of minced meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1 grated onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped green olives
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup diced mozzarella
  • Frying oil

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, soak the wheat in hot water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain them and pass them through a sieve.
  3. In a plate, mix the meat with the wheat, egg, onion and garlic.
  4. Add the parsley, olives, flour and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Open portions of dough and insert a cube of mozzarella into each.
  6. Close, forming balls and fry them in hot oil, little at a time, until golden.
  7. Drain on absorbent paper and serve immediately.
