Ingredients:

  • 5 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate powder (tea).
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/3 cups unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 2 cups sugar (tea)
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) milk
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing

Filling

  • 2 cans of condensed milk
  • 12 tablespoons of Ninho® milk powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted margarine
  • 2 packs of cream (400g)

Coverage

  • 300g chopped milk or semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 pack of cream (100g)
  • Grapes, strawberries, kiwis and blackberries to decorate

Preparation method

  1. For the dough, sift the flour, chocolate, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt into a bowl and set aside.
  2. Using a mixer, beat the butter and sugar for 10 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking constantly.
  4. Add the essence and milk and alternate with the dry ingredients, beating until smooth.
  5. Pour into a large removable, greased and floured mold and bake in a preheated medium oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool and unmold.
  7. For the filling, place all the ingredients, except the cream, in a pan over low heat, stirring until thickened.
  8. Turn off the heat, add the cream and mix.
  9. Cut the cake into three parts horizontally and intersperse layers of cold pastry and filling, finishing with the pastry.
  10. For the covering, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and add it to the cream.
  11. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
  12. Put the icing on the cake and decorate it with grapes, strawberries, kiwis and blackberries. Serve immediately.
