Puree filled with fish

Time: 50 minutes

Performance: 8 servings

Ingredients:

  • 8 hake fillets
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded standard Minas cheese (half-aged)

Puree

  • 800 g of boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • Salt and grated nutmeg to taste

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, season the fish fillets with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan with olive oil over medium heat and grill the fillets until lightly browned.
  3. Remove and reserve.
  4. For the puree, place the mashed potatoes, butter and mozzarella in a pan and cook over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and nutmeg.
  6. Spread half the puree into a baking dish greased with olive oil.
  7. Make a layer with the fish fillets and cover with the rest of the puree.
  8. Sprinkle with semi-hard cheese and bake in a preheated medium oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve.
