Nutritionist explains how using calming teas can help control symptoms of psoriasis, an autoimmune disease

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon dried chamomile flowers (or 1 chamomile sachet)

250ml of water

Preparation method:

  1. Heat the water to the boiling point
  2. Place the chamomile flowers in a cup and pour boiling water over them
  3. Cover and leave to macerate for about 5-10 minutes
  4. Strain (if using dried flowers) and drink the tea while it is still hot.

2. Fennel tea

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon fennel seeds

250ml of water

Preparation method:

  1. Heat the water to the boiling point
  2. Add the fennel seeds to the hot water
  3. Leave to infuse for 5 to 7 minutes
  4. Strain the tea and drink hot

3. Lemon balm tea

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon fresh lemon balm leaves (or 1 tea bag)

250ml of water

Preparation method:

  1. Boil the water and add the lemon balm leaves
  2. Leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon dry smoked smoke

250 ml of water

Preparation method:

  1. Boil the water and add the smoker
  2. Leave to infuse for 7-10 minutes
